1. Data Collection
We collect account information (email, company name) and your license key for validation.
2. Configuration Data
- Raw Configuration: Raw, unredacted configuration data is encrypted locally using your Master Key before it is uploaded to our servers. We do not store your Master Key, and as such, we cannot decrypt your raw configuration files.
- Redacted Configuration: Before any data leaves your environment, our engine redacts common secrets (passwords, keys). This redacted version is used by our portal to provide features like configuration diffing, search, and historical analysis.
- Security Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Master Key. If the key is lost, your raw backups are mathematically unrecoverable.
3. Data Retention
We retain configuration data for as long as your license remains active. You may delete your data at any time through the Cloud Portal.
4. Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information or configuration data to outside parties.
